Recallr vs Notion

Recallr or Notion? A memory, or a workspace.

Notion is a workspace you design: pages, databases and views, alone or with a team. Recallr is a memory you don't have to keep up: save it, and it reads and connects it for you. Here's how they handle the same everyday jobs.

Where Notion wins

Where Notion is the better pick.

We make Recallr, so here's the part we'd want to know ourselves.

  • Structure you control

Databases, relations and views let you build exactly the system you want.

  • Teams

Shared workspaces, permissions and wikis. Recallr is personal.

  • Writing documents

Notion is a full document editor; Recallr's notes are quick notes.

  • Platforms

Apps on web, Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android, plus Notion Calendar.

Using both

Connect Notion to Recallr (it's on the Free plan) and Recallr can read your Notion pages alongside everything you save. Keep building docs and team wikis in Notion; ask Recallr when you need something back from any of it.

Questions

Good to know.

Still curious? Ask Recallr in the corner, or write to support@recallr-ai.org.

01Is Recallr a Notion alternative?

For a personal second brain, yes: save from anywhere and ask for things back, with no pages or databases to maintain. For team docs, wikis and project tracking, Notion does things Recallr doesn't try to.

02Does Notion's free plan include AI?

Notion's pricing page lists a limited trial of Notion AI on Free and Plus, with the full Notion Agent, AI Meeting Notes and Enterprise Search on Business ($20 per member a month) and Enterprise.

03Can Recallr read my Notion?

Yes. Notion is one of the connected apps on Recallr's Free plan, alongside Google Drive and Dropbox. Each app is permissioned on its own.

How we compared

We're the team behind Recallr. We used Notion's own pricing and product pages for its facts, checked October 17, 2026, and left out anything we couldn't confirm there. Spot something out of date? Write to support@recallr-ai.org.
