Reviewing Recallr? Start here.

The facts, real recordings, Recallr's benchmark score, and fifteen minutes to put Recallr through its paces, including what isn't ready yet.

In one paragraph

Recallr, in a hundred words.

Recallr is an AI second brain. People save articles, videos, social posts, PDFs, photos and notes from any app in two taps; Recallr reads each one, connects it to what they saved before, and answers questions in plain words with the sources shown. It runs on the web, Mac and Windows, with an iPhone app on the way, and works inside other AI assistants and coding tools through the Recallr MCP server. Recallr is free to start; Pro is $14.99 a month. Recallr never sells people's memories or uses them for ads.

Fifteen minutes

What to test.

Ten things, in order. They cover what Recallr does best.

  1. 01

Sign up free at recallr-ai.org/app, or download the Mac or Windows app.

  2. 02

Save ten things from different places: an article, a YouTube video, a TikTok, a PDF, a photo.

  3. 03

Open a save after a minute: its overview, key ideas and the saves it's connected to.

  4. 04

Ask something only one of your saves could answer, and check the numbered sources.

  5. 05

Ask what happens at a moment in the video you saved.

  6. 06

Open the Brain Map and see what clustered on its own.

  7. 07

Turn a save into flash cards, a quiz or a research brief.

  8. 08

Connect Recallr to an AI assistant you use with https://mcp.recallr-ai.org/mcp and ask from there.

  9. 09

Claim a Buddy Mail address and sign it up for a newsletter.

  10. 10

Delete a save, and look at how you'd delete your whole account.

Not ready yet, so you don't go looking

The iPhone app is on its way to the App Store, the Chrome extension comes after it, there's no Android app, and Recallr is built for one person's memory, not team workspaces.

Recordings

Real screen recordings. Use them.

Recorded in the Recallr app for iPhone and iPad (in beta, on its way to the App Store) on test accounts, against the live service. Download any of them to use in a review.

Questions

For reviewers.

Still curious? Ask Recallr in the corner, or write to support@recallr-ai.org.

01Is Recallr any good?

Judge for yourself: the fifteen-minute test above covers what it does best and what isn't ready yet. Recallr's score on LongMemEval, the standard long-term memory test, is on the benchmark page, and member reviews, high and low, are on the reviews page.

02How do reviews work?

We don't pay for reviews and we don't write them. Each comes from a verified Recallr member at Brain level 3 or above with at least ten saves, and every rating is shown. The team removes only spam, abuse and personal information.

03Who makes Recallr?

Recallr Inc. Write to support@recallr-ai.org for a walkthrough, an answer or a bug looked at, and follow @recallr_ai on X for news.

04Is there a summary for AI assistants?

Yes: a plain-text summary of Recallr, its plans and every public page is at recallr-ai.org/llms.txt. Comparisons with Obsidian, Mem, Notion and mymind, with their sources, are at recallr-ai.org/compare.
