Recallr vs Mem

Recallr or Mem? It depends on what fills your head.

Mem is built around the notes you write and an agent that organizes them. Recallr is built around everything you save, from any app, read for you and ready to ask about. Here's how they handle the same everyday jobs.

Built around

Two good apps, built around different things.

Pick the one that matches what fills your second brain. Plenty of people use both.

Mem

The notes you write, organized by an agent

Pick Mem if

  • You want tasks and projects picked out of your notes
  • You want an iPhone app from the App Store today

Where Mem wins

Where Mem is the better pick.

We make Recallr, so here's the part we'd want to know ourselves.

  • Notes and meetings first

If you live in your own notes and meetings, Mem is designed around exactly that.

  • Tasks

Mem finds tasks and projects in your notes and tracks them. Recallr doesn't try to be a task manager.

  • On the App Store today

Mem's iPhone app is on the App Store now. Recallr's iPhone app is in beta, on its way there.

  • A cheaper first step

Mem Plus is $9 a month.

Questions

Good to know.

Still curious? Ask Recallr in the corner, or write to support@recallr-ai.org.

01Is Recallr a good Mem alternative?

If what you want back is mostly things you saved (articles, videos, posts, PDFs, photos), yes: Recallr reads each save and answers from them with sources. If your second brain is mostly your own notes, meetings and tasks, Mem is built around that.

02Which is cheaper, Recallr or Mem?

Both have a free plan. Mem's paid plans start at $9 a month (Plus) and Mem recommends Pro at $29. Recallr has one paid plan, Pro, at $14.99 a month or $159.99 a year.

03Does Recallr work on Android?

Not as an app yet. Recallr runs on the web (any browser, including on Android), Mac and Windows, with the iPhone app coming to the App Store.

04Can I use Recallr inside other AI assistants?

Yes. The Recallr MCP server lets AI chat apps and coding assistants that support MCP search and read your saves, and add new ones when you ask.

How we compared

We're the team behind Recallr. We used Mem's own pricing and product pages for its facts, checked October 17, 2026, and left out anything we couldn't confirm there. Spot something out of date? Write to support@recallr-ai.org.
