Introducing Recallr: the AI second brain that remembers what you save

We all save things to come back to: a recipe, a video essay, a thread, a PDF someone sent. Then we never find them again. Recallr is our answer. Save anything from any app in two taps; Recallr reads it and connects it; when you need it, you just ask.

01

Saving isn't remembering

Most of us keep a "saved" list in five different apps, a camera roll full of screenshots and a browser full of bookmarks we will never open. The problem isn't saving. It's that a saved thing is only useful if you can get it back at the moment you need it, without remembering where you put it or what it was called.

Notes apps ask you to file everything. Search asks you to remember the exact words. We wanted something that works like a friend who was there: you describe what you half-remember, and they hand it back.

02

What Recallr is

Recallr is an AI second brain built around three moments:

  1. Save. Share from any app on your phone, save the page you're on, paste a link, or drop a file. Two taps, no folders.
  2. Understand. Recallr reads each save: the article's ideas, the video's transcript, the text in a PDF or a photo. It writes an overview and links the save to what you kept before.
  3. Ask. Ask in plain words. The answer comes from your own saves, with the sources numbered and linked back to the originals.

03

What it does today

  • Saves almost anything: articles, YouTube videos with transcripts, TikToks, Instagram, X and Reddit posts, PDFs, documents, images, voice memos and meeting recordings.
  • Answers with sources, and searches your saves, chats and notes at once. The Brain Map shows everything you know as connected clusters.
  • Makes things from your saves: research briefs and study guides, slide decks in Google Slides, spreadsheets in Google Sheets and documents in Google Docs, after you approve.
  • Helps you learn: Tutor sessions on your own material, flash cards and quizzes, and Deep Research that builds on what you already have.
  • Connects your apps: Google Drive, Notion and Dropbox on Free; Gmail, Calendar, Slack, GitHub and Google Docs, Sheets and Slides on Pro. It asks before it sends, creates or changes anything.
  • Buddy, Recallr's companion, texts you when something you saved is worth a look, and has its own email address for your newsletters.
  • Works inside other assistants: the Recallr connector brings your saves into the AI chat apps and coding assistants you already use.

04

Where it runs, and what it costs

Recallr runs on the web at recallr-ai.org/app and as apps for Mac and Windows (download). The iPhone app is in beta, on its way to the App Store, and Recallr Buddy for Chrome is next. It's one memory across all of them.

The Free plan holds 200 saves and notes, with an AI allowance that refills every 5 hours. Pro is $14.99 a month or $159.99 a year, removes the save limit and gives 15 times Free's AI allowance.

05

Your memory stays yours

  • We never sell your memories or use them for ads.
  • You choose what goes in, and each connected app is permissioned on its own.
  • You can reset your brain or delete your account anytime.
